  • Event registration: attendance, dietary or accessibility needs (if you choose to share them).

  • Communications: emails, feedback, survey responses, and message content.

  • Volunteer info: interests, availability, emergency contacts (if applicable).

b) Information We Collect Automatically

c) Information from Third Parties

  • Payment processors (e.g., Wix Payments, Stripe, PayPal, or your bank) provide transaction confirmations and limited details needed for receipts.

  • Fundraising/event platforms may share your donation or registration data if you choose to give or register through them.

  • Public sources or partners may provide updates to help keep our records current.

2) How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

3) Legal Bases (for EEA/UK Visitors)

Where applicable, we rely on:

  • Consent (e.g., newsletters).

  • Contract (e.g., processing a donation you initiate).

  • Legitimate interests (e.g., site security, donor stewardship, program administration).

  • Legal obligations (e.g., tax and regulatory compliance).

4) How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information with:

  • Service providers that help us operate (e.g., payment processors, email providers, IT/security vendors, analytics and event platforms).

  • Professional advisors (e.g., auditors, lawyers) as required.

  • Partner organizations when you explicitly opt in or when co-hosting an event or program.

  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.

We require service providers to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.

We deeply value donor trust. We will not sell, rent, or exchange donor information. Donor lists are not shared outside ROCF except:

  • To process a donation, issue tax receipts, or acknowledge gifts;

  • When required by law; or

  • When you explicitly authorize it.

You can request that your gifts be listed as anonymous, and we will honor that in publications, events, and communications.
